One of the most beloved of all choral works, Johannes Brahms’ “human” requiem of comfort and joy will be brought to life in the stunning space of National Presbyterian Church. Featuring critically acclaimed soloists Danielle Talamantes and Kerry Wilkerson, we hope you will hear this masterpiece as if for the first time. The concert opens with one of Brahms’ first sets of independent variations for orchestra, based on a tune by Franz Josef Hadyn.

Paired with William Walton’s monumental Belshazzar’s Feast, this concert will celebrate Maestra’s Kuhrmann storied career with the appropriate drama and flare a send off deserves.
